Dr. Zahra (Roya) Farmani, born in 1983 in Tehran, Iran, is a highly skilled professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a B.Sc. in cellular and molecular microbiology from Tehran, Iran, an M.Sc. in Water Science specializing in the chemistry and microbiology of water, from Essen, Germany, and a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim a. d. Ruhr, Germany. With five years of experience in a USAID-funded international NGO in Iraq, she focused on community development projects and programs, particularly in project communication, youth, and gender-related topics.
