Mustapha is a journalist at the Moroccan News Agency (MAP). From 2017 to 2022, he was Head of the Amazigh service of the MAP and contributed, in that capacity, to the promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity in Morocco with articles dedicated to Amazigh culture and its African and Mediterranean links and roots. In 2020, he won the National Prize of Amazigh Culture of Morocco, and the first ENP South prize of the “Journalistic Craft for the Neighbourhood” (JCN), a competition funded by the European Union. Mustapha also led workshops for young Moroccans, Sub-Saharans and Europeans on journalism, dialogue and coexistence. Since April 2022, he has been MAP’s correspondent in Kuala Lumpur, where he covers cultural, economic and political news in Malaysia.
