Marc Serena is a freelance journalist based in Barcelona. When he was 25 he published “Trip to the 25” (2011), a snapshot of his generation that has been released in five languages including Chinese and Korean. His blog was awarded by Lonely Planet as the best non-English travel blog of 2009. He has travelled Africa extensively and published “¡This is Un-African!” (2013), a compilation of queer voices from 15 African countries. He has directed the award-winning feature documentary “Tchindas” (2015) and the interactive documentary “Double Epidemic” (2015).
