Dr. Zahra (Roya) Farmani, born in 1983 in Tehran, Iran, is a highly skilled professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a B.Sc. in cellular and molecular microbiology from Tehran, Iran, an M.Sc. in Water Science specializing in the chemistry and microbiology of water, from Essen, Germany, and a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim a. d. Ruhr, Germany. With five years of experience in a USAID-funded international NGO in Iraq, she focused on community development projects and programs, particularly in project communication, youth, and gender-related topics. She excelled in coordinating and conducting several conferences and trainings for various target groups, such as youth and women. Additionally, she has acquired five professional certificates in management, covering areas like managing productivity, performance and financial management from e-Cornell University in New York, USA.
